My new printer won't initialize. I've downloaded the printer driver and installed it, but the printer won't print (the green light keeps blinking). How do I get it to initialize???

My system is Windows 11. The green light keeps blinking, which I think means it's not initializing (never goes full green).

Hi there!
I'm not a tech, but I'm happy to offer some advice!
Try re-installing the setup software from https://canon.us/MG2522setup
It will uninstall the drivers & software and re-install the most current version. It also walks you through the whole setup process of adding it to your WiFi network.
I hope this is helpful!

Thanks! I'll try that...

Isn't the green power light supposed to be on? It's still blinking, so the initial problem is still there.
