Hi, I'm about to throw this thing in the trash. I'll print something (in B&W) and it comes out pink, telling me it's still mixing colors to get black. Run cleaning, deep cleaning, and sometimes it will fix the blue, but normally only ink flush works (nice way to sell more ink!). Then it will print a few pages (documents, not even pictures) normally if I'm lucky, then again all text is pink again. This is all in the span of 30 minutes, not waiting days or weeks between prints.
Any tricks to fix this permanently, sorry if buying an Epson? I'm using genuine inks. I live in Phoenix so humidity is very low, usually 20% it so, not sure if that is contributing to the issue and ink lines are drying up? But not within 15 minutes...
Very frustrated with this printer!

Hi,
Since the cleanings and ink flush did not resolve the issue, the printer would require service.
If the printer is in its 1 year warranty, I recommend reaching out to Canon support for your warranty options. You will need to register your Canon gear HERE to access additional support options.
If the printer is out of warranty, you would qualify for the Canon Upgrade program. This is for out of warranty units which have been diagnosed to require service or are incompatible with a new or upgraded system. This program allows you the opportunity to purchase a replacement product discounted from the list price. Free ground shipping is included with your purchase.
You can take advantage of this offer by calling the Canon Sales Department at (866) 443-8002 Mon-Sat, 9 AM to 9pm EST excluding holidays.

Definitely out of warranty... So I think I'll be using up the ink I have (won't take long with the regular ink flush) since I hate wasting anything, and get a different manufacturer's printer next time.
