PIXMA G6020: Long term printer storage, going away for 5 months

What should I do other than just to turn off ? 
concerned about the ink drying up .

Hi mmccabe8488,

If not using your PIXMA G6020 for an extended period of time, turning off the printer using the power button is all that is necessary.  When the printer is turned off, the printhead moves to the side and is "capped", which will prevent drying out.
