PIXMA G3270 Print delay solution

HankZ

We purchased a Canon G3270 printer, got it set up, the setup screen, ya need to use a magnifying glass but once set up, really does a nice job on printing. The one thing we did note, is the printer had some kind of a delay between a print command and actual printing. And after doing some reading and better understanding the printer had a auto off feature, and the printer had to be manually turned on to print, but even when on, for a while there was always a delay in printing after a print command. Did some fiddling and then tried per Cannon instructions, turning off this auto off feature so that the printers "stays on" That did the trick, no more print delay!
