Pixma G3200 Error 5B00

Went to run the System Cleaning Maintenance on the printer as the printing was becoming blotchy, this usually corrects the issue.  Upon doing so, system error came up SUPPORT CODE 5B00.  Will no longer print.  Yellow light flashes repeatedly in intervals of 7 flashes.

Might be time for a new printer.  Unless you are close to a service facility, the cost to package, ship and repair might exceed the cost of replacement.

Thanks, however,  after searching the web, I  found a couple of posts and u tube video which worked to resolve the issue.

Requires steps to place the printer in service mode, clear the ink pad counter and suggests to replace the pad

Suggest you search Pixma G3200 5B00 error and follow instructions

I am familiar with the process.  However, some models require a significant amount of disassembly to reach the ink absorbers.  They are not considered a user serviceable part.
