PIXMA G3270 How to connect an Ethernet cable

Hi, I need some help. I cannot find or locate the ethernet connection on the back of this printer.

There is a USB "U" shaped port there at the back left side. Under that is the power

cord plug in. Thats all I can find. How do I plug in an ethernet cable?

Thanks for joining the conversation, guitarplayer23!  The PIXMA G3270 talks to other devices via Wi-Fi and via a USB cable.  This model does not support Ethernet connectivity and that's why it doesn't have an Ethernet port.

Hope this information helps!

Thanks Danny.  Man I wish I`d have known that before purchase. I have no router

and the WiFi won`t connect. I am able to copy with the USB.

Is there an adapter that I can use with the USB that will accept the Ethernet cable?

The wifi will not accept either. is there a secret to this?

You can connect the printer to your computer with a USB A to B cable. Like this:

OR, you can connect the printer to your wireless router using WiFi. Tap HERE for instructions.

I guess w/o a wireless router it will not connect?

You can use the USB cable to connect it directly to your computer.

I suggest contacting support so they can walk you through the set up process one-on-one. They're available Monday through Friday from 8am to 8pm (ET), at 1-800-OK-CANON (800-652-2666).
