I have a brand new Canon Pixma G3260 ink tank printer and I am getting very faded printouts for the right click menu "print" option.
The funny thing is when I print from the Faststone image viewer I do not get the fading. l do not like it, it's not nearly as rich in color as it should be, but it is not at all faded.

I definitely know now that the problem of faded printouts is only with the Windows 11 right-click "Print" option.
I dropped the image into Microsoft Word and also Faststone image viewer, and there is no fading.
This is very frustrating!
I only like using this right-click menu option because it is so easy to get a full-page printout. No adjusting or figuring is necessary.
I do not know of any photo/image viewer that makes a full-page printout so easy.
If anyone knows of any such pc software, please let me know.

In word processing applications, the printer is using the document ink (pigment black), instead of the photo ink (dye). At first glance, it may seem better, but the printer is not applying the ink appropriately. Make sure you have the Canon software and drivers installed.
