PIMXA MG3600 series printer not responding

I am on windows 11, i have a canon mg3600

it keeps saying printer not responding whenever i try to print. there is no error code or anything that gives any indication of whats wrong. i have tried to contact support about this, but when i go to register my device, the mg3600 is not an available option.

MG3600 is your printer's " family." The model is on the top or front panel of your device. If you don't see it immediately, the front paper tray may be covering it.
