I have this orange piece from inside my printer, where does it go and how do I put where it goes

Hi  Josephmadden012,

The orange plastic piece holds the ink carriage in place when the printer is first boxed up. That piece is designed to be removed from the printer when the printer is set up for the first time.The orange plastic piece can be thrown away.
