Only printing on photo paper?

I have the Canon Series MG7520 Printer, and it was working great until a few weeks ago. I use google docs very often, and I need to be able to print these documents out. Recently though, everything I try to print automatically prints on photo paper. I have the settings of my google doc set to letter paper, so why does this keeping happening and how do I fix it? PDFs also print on the photo paper.

Please make sure that your PIXMA MG7520 is set to letter/plain paper.  To do this, please follow these steps:

 1.  Press the HOME button on your PIXMA MG7520.

 2.  Swipe the screen from left to right and tap the screwdriver and wrench icon.

 3.  Tap Device settings.

 4.  Scroll down the list and tap Cassette settings.

 5.  Tap Register cassette paper info.

 6.  Tap cassette 2.

 7.  Select Letter for Page size and Plain paper for Type.

 8.  Tap Register.

Attempt to print.
