My canon mx892 will not save scanned document to attached USB drive.

Printer use to prompt for a save destination when documents were placed in the ADF. Suddenly stopped. Actually right after the printer displayed an error on the printer led screen to cycle the power, I lost this functionality. Have tried cycling power, no help. Any thoughts?
