Don't know what changed but my Canon MX470 won't print avery labels. I keep getting a paper alignment error message, but when I turn the paper face up, the printer prints the information on the wrong side of the paper. It won't print when paper is face down. Very weird. How can I correct this?

Hi rbucano,
You can trying changing your paper settings to matte photo paper. You can enable the prevent paper abrasion setting. To do this, please follow these steps from the printer's operation panel:
1. Press the SETUP button.
2. Use the arrow keys to select OUTPUT SETTINGS, then press the OK button.
3. Use the arrow keys to select PREVEN ABRASION, then press the OK button.
4. Use the arrow keys to set PREVENT PAPER ABRASION to ON, then press the OK button.
5. Press the COPY button to return to the main printer screen.
Once you are finished printing the labels, please ensure that the prevent paper abrasion setting is set back to OFF.
