My Canon MP-560 printer will not print from my PGI-220 cartridge. It wants to have me install a 221 cartidge instead. It shows the status of the 220 cartridge as full. I have no use for color carridges as I only print documents.

Go into printer driver and select Graycale. See if that lets you print.

in my case it's the same. the ink is full and does not print through the largest cartridge (PGI-220). if I want to print it has to be in a photo format that uses the smaller cartridges. I've done everything, reset, deep cleaning, I removed the cartridges, the head, I immersed myself in isopropyl alcohol, etc. it's nothing. does not print anything on that cartridge.
