Mx 882 keeps going offline

My printer goes ofline and I have to reload the drivers everytime I want to print unless it's the same day that I have already downloaded them. I'm running windows 8 but havent had any problems until recently. Troubleshooting hasn't helped. Any fixes for this?

Thank you for getting back to me so quickly. I am connecting wirelessly on my laptop runing windows 8 and USB on an old desktop running XP.

To try and resolve the offline error, please try turning the printer off and back on.  Then see if you can print again.

Did that many times. I think the problem is resolved, for now anyway. I deleted the current drivers (had many downloads trying to fix the problem) and reloaded. I have done this in the past and it worked for a while but went offline again. I will re--post if the problem happens again.
