MacOS High Sierra 10.13.1 and Canon MF Utility crash

Hello

is anyone able to install a working version of Scangear MF Utility on the latest Macos system? Whenever I launch the latest version of the program it crashes in this fashion (installation didn't give any issues), even after deleting existing drivers/software, resetting printing subsystem and reinstalling:
