MX922 Printing Failure

Dell XPS, Windows 10. Printer is Hardwired to computer.

Printer worked fine until a couple days ago.

Manual copy function works. So printer is mechanically fine.

Control Panel recognizes printer. Reports no errors.

Canon IJ Scan Utility works from computer to scanner and scans images back to computer.

So computer-printer connections appear to be fine.

But Can’t get printer to print from any application. Prints just stay in the queue. Until I clean them out.

(did a windows update push mess me up?)

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi PrintProb24,

Please follow these steps:

1.  On your computer, please press the Windows key on your keyboard and the letter R, then let both go.

2.  In the Run window that appears, please type CONTROL and click OK.

3.  In Control Panel, click on View devices and printers.

4.  In the Printers window, click on "Add a printer" at the top.

5.  Follow the prompts in the the Add printer window to add the MX920 series printer.

6.  Once the new MX920 printer is listed in the Printers window, please attempt to print.
