Our MX892 printer 'forgets' its IP address overnight. I can configure it to be on our network, and looking at the Network settings afterwards, it shows itself as having an IP address of 192.168.0.10 (a member of our home network). The next morning, I'll look at the settings, and the IP address on the printer is now 169.254.124.151.
Nothing about our network, or our internet connection uses an IP anything like that.
Is there a way to permanently assign an IP address to the printer? Am I forever destined to have to reconfigure the network settings on the printer on a daily basis?
TIA,
- Eric

Hello.
An IP Address can be assigned by using the configuration page for the printer. Once the printer has been reconnected to your network, please access the IP address from your web browser. This menu will allow you to make changes to the network settings for the unit.
