The printer has been working OK, showing low ink messages but still printing. Today it won't print shows 'doesn't recognise ink model numbers. I have put in new (Canon) cartridges, correct model numbers, and although it registers ink full it still says it doesn't recognise the ink model numbers and won't print. Help!

Hi, vickyt,
Could you reply with the information that is on the ink cartridges( ink number, where it was made, etc).
Also after you put the ink back in the printer, I recommend performing a reset of the printer. While the printer is on, unplug the power cord from the printer and let it sit for 60 seconds. While the power is off, press the power button 5 times. After 60 seconds plug the power cord back in and power on the printer. Does the same message appear?
We look forward to your reply.
