MX370 printer will not print - is it because the color ink is low?

Hi !

im trying to print a black and white doc using the MX370 printer, the printer diagnostics are good but the color ink is low, will the printer not print even plain grayscale with a good black ink cartridge and low color?

That could be the problem. Is the printer issuing a warning that ink is low or has run out?
