The support code 6000is a general hardware failure error. I recommend performing a reset of the printer. While the printer is on, unplug the power cord from the printer and let it sit for 60 seconds. Wile the power is off, press the power button 5 times. After 60 seconds plug the power cord back in and power on the printer.
If the unit is within one year of the purchase date, you would qualify for our Warranty Exchange Program. Once verified with a valid proof of purchase (POP), your warranty exchange will be processed and Canon will send you a replacement unit via UPS ground shipping. If the printer is out of warranty, you qualify for the Canon Upgrade Program.
