MP 610 error 6000 message

Error message 6000.  Have done all the user guide suggested.

 

Any suggestions as to fix?  Will not print.  All ink cartridges are fine.

Call Canon customer support.  

 

I had the same error and tried what the online manual suggested:
(unplug printer, wait a half-hour or so, plug printer back in and hopefully it will clear the error code).  

 

That did not work so I called Canon support.   The gentleman walked me through some steps and low and behold, I had a paper jam in an area I would never have thought of looking.   I could have unplugged/plugged back in my printer a dozen times, and it never would have worked since I had that paper jam.   I had checked for paper jams myself, but never knew there were a couple of areas that I was not looking.
