MG7120 Printer Driver ucd or mcd (what is the difference)

I needed to perform a clean install of Window 10.   I am ready to install my MG7120 scanner/printer.

I have found on Canon site two drivers both the same date:

1. win-mg7100-1_1-ucd.exe
2. win-mg7100-1_1-mcd.exe

I want the driver only.  To scan and print.  No extra programs.  Which do I chose and what is ucd vs mcd?

You'll find the most up-to-date software from our site HERE.

You'll see three options on that page - one under "Recommended Driver(s)," and two under "Optional Driver(s)."

The second option under "Optional Driver(s)" is the most basic driver for printing and scanning (mp68-win-mg7100-1_01-ejs.exe).
