My printer is flashing yellow. The troubleshooting guide suggest a paper jam, but there is no paper in the printer. It's still reporting a jam, though. How do I fix this?
The printer is connected via usb on a Windows 7 PC.

Hi nlelliott2014,
Since you have verified that there are no jams in the unit, please turn off the printer, unplug the power cord and leave it out for at least 10 minutes, then plug it back in and turn it back on. If the error does not remain, please try performing at least three roller cleanings on the unit by following the steps shown here to ensure that the paper path is clear and that the paper can feed smoothly. Should you still experience difficulty, we ask that you please contact a Canon technical support representative here for further assistance. A representative will be happy to assist you free of charge.
