On my MG2220 I get the error code P2 which indicates a paper jam. Using the normal openings I do not see any signs of any pieces of paper. If I need to disassemble the unit, I need help as to how to do that. Are there some hidden screws or some plastic catch tabs? I am able to remove the right hand side panel.
Or can i reset it some way to get rid of the error using software?
I am using Windows 10 but I am supposing there is no point dealing with driver until I can first get rid of the error message. Right?

Hi hermhart,
We do not recommend disassembling the unit, this would need to be done by servicing facility. To ensure that there are no osbstructions in the printer that may be causing the error, please check the areas shown here. Once this has been done, please turn off the printer, unplug the power cord and leave it out for at least 10 minutes, then plug it back in and turn it back on to try and reset the printer. Once the printer has been reset, please attempt to perform at least three roller cleanings on the unit to ensure that the paper path is clear and that the paper can feed smoothly.
Should you still experience difficulty, we ask that you please contact a Canon technical support representative here for further assistance. A representative will be happy to assist you free of charge.
