IP8720 - Should new printer look blotchy and scratched on the bottom?

Hi,  I recently purchased a new IP8720 printer and on the bottom in looks blotchy and scratched.  In addition the rubber feet stick to the table it's on like glue.  Is that normal?  Please see photo.  Thanks very much.

Where did you purchase it? Was it supposed to be new? Did it have the orange sipping tape on various parts?

I purchased it from a reputable camera store.  It had the colored tape on various parts.  It absolutely looked new.  The bottom to me looks odd though.  Thanks
