I have MAC OS 10.6.8. The machines seems to do everything right but I get blank pages. I can still print. Is it possible I have a bad scanner?

Hi marvistamike,
I would like to have you print a nozzle check pattern from the printer to see if all of the inkjet nozzles are dispensing the ink correctly. To do this, please follow these steps:
1. Press the Menu button repeatedly until Maintenance appears.
3. Examine the nozzle check pattern that printed and compare it to the image below:
Did the nozzle check pattern print correctly, including the black grid at the top above the colors?
Also, if you try to scan a document into your computer, does the image appear correctly on your screen?
