This printer is supposed to work with Vista. I just recently purchased it. I connected it USB and it worked fine for a week and then today it stopped.....says it's offline.
It started acting up tonight. First it started printing blank pages. Then it stopped printing anything. I rebooted the printer, rebooted the computer, tried a different usb connection cord, reinstalled drivers and still nothing is working.
The printer turns on fine and the computer turns on fine, but they don't seem to be communicating. Everything is hooked up to where it needs to go.
I talked to Canon customer support twice and they seem to think I need to take my computer in for repairs or purchase a new one. I'd hate to do that and find out it's not my computer but an issue with the printer. It just seems rather extreme in order to get the printer to work but would love to hear any other suggestions or recommendations.
