I had to replace my Cannon 2100 for a 2900. I can print just fine but cannot scan using the Cannon MP software. I can scan through my windows 7 software but the MP software is much easier with better results. When I hit the scan button it just says it can't find the device and is shutting down the driver. When I go into preferrences it shows both printers under printers with the 2900 (correctly) as default. The is the only scanner that appears 2100.
