I have a cannon MP490, it keeps saying that the ink absorber is full, what should I do ?

The ink absorber will need to be replaced professionally (because the ink counter has to be reset), which means you are looking at taking the printer to a service center. With the age of this unit, you will probably be better off (both functionally and economically) simply replacing the unit with a new printer
