I get squiggly lines when printing a document on my Canon Pixma 922.

I am getting uneven (I call them squiggly) lines when I print a document.  Is there some kind of maintenance I need to be doing?

Hi SoCalSue,

Performing a print head alignment on the printer should resolve the issue.  To do this, please follow the steps located here.  If you still experience difficulty, you can try cleaning the encoder film of the printer by following the steps located here.
