Hi,
Where can I find the meanings, the implications, for the various printer profiles that came with my iP8700. That is the names such as:
Canon iP8700 series PT1
Canon iP8700 series GL2
Thanks,

Brian,
It goes like this;
GL - stand for glossy
MP - stand for matte paper
PT- stand for platinum
SG/LU - stand for semi-gloss or luster
The numbers after the letters represent the saturation level so: PT3 will be more saturated than PT1 and the same will be for the other finishes, higher the number, higher the saturation level and vice versa. It'll be like selecting from standard to vivid mode on the printer's driver.
I hope this helps,
Adrian
