How to find my IP address for TS6520.

I'm a novice and I've spent 2 days trying to connect this printer to my wireless computer. My HP printer was a breeze to connect, this one is so hard ! I need my IP address, but it won't tell me in plain english where to find it. None of the buttons on the printer say what they are and in the instructions it gives words for the buttons, but it doesn't show the button ! So I have no idea what goes with what ! I've punched all the buttons and can't find a IP address. I'm at the point of returning this printer !

You use the arrow keys to navigate the display on the printer panel.

Thank you thank you thank you ! Canon's web site has been useless for me, you saved my sanity ! I still can't figure out how to scan to the computer, but some day I'll figure it out. lol

What operating system does your computer use? I am sure I can help you to connect and use your scanner. 

If you are using Windows, this is a simple program to test the scanner, download and install it.
