How to bypass printable disc Pixma ip8750

Hi all, I’ve got an old ip8750 printer but the disc tray has broken. I’ve never used it and don’t need to, so how do I bypass the disc tray so I can print? 
Resetting the printer hasn’t worked. 

Any help appreciated, thank you!

By starting the process within the Canon application, you can explicitly select the desired paper type and size (like A4 or photo paper) before sending the job to the printer. This action manually overrides the printer's automatic disc printing setting, allowing you to print normally without the disc tray.
