How to Disable Color Management on PIXMA iX6820

bmurphy28

I'm printing from Photoshop on a MacBook Pro M1 Max to a Pixma ix6820 and it warns me to turn off printer color management when I want Photoshop to manage color.  How do I disable color management on the Pixma ix6820?  When I go to the printer dialog box there are no color setting options other than "print in color or black and white".

Hi,

Please click HERE and when the page opens, select software and drivers. You will want to download and install the iX6800 series CUPS Printer Driver Ver.16.90.1.0.

Once the printer driver is installed, go to printers and scanners and remove/add the printer back. Then for kind make sure the Canon driver is listed and not Airprint.

Hi bmurphy28,

Please follow these steps:

1.  Click on the Apple in the upper left hand corner of your Mac.

2.  Click on System Settings.

3.  Scroll to the bottom of the left side and click on Printers & Scanners.

4.  On the right, click on the iX6820.

In the page that appears, what exactly appears to the right of "Kind" ?
