How do i fix the full excess ink reservoir issue? ip2600 printer

Every time i print on my canon ip2600 printer the message comes up to "contact service center because the excess ink reservoir is almost full" It then prints ok.

Hi Butch75,

The printer has an ink absorber that takes in ink during the printing and print head cleaning processes.  After substantial use, the ink absorber will need replacing.  We recommend having the unit serviced to have the absorber replaced.  Please call or email us using one of the methods on the Contact Us page for servicing options available to you.
