Hello.
The setting to control scanning to email is controlled by the IJ Scan Utility program. Review the steps below. If your program is not avalable to be selected, you will have to manually attach your scans to your emails.
1. Open the IJ Scan Utility on your computer.
2. Click Settings.
3. Click the Scanning fro Operation Panel tab at the upper left.
4. Select the Attach to E-mail Photo tab.
5. Choose your email client in the Application Settings area.
6. Repeat this for the Attach to E-Mail Document tab on the left.
Once this has been done, try scanning to test the unit.
