Home button not working on TS5150 (trying to set up the printer for Chromebook )

Hi Everyone

The Home button is dead.

I don't know why.

It might be worth pointing out that I can't get a message loop off the printer screen. I begin with " you can only load plain paper etc" and exiting that takes me to the sequence of images explaining how to load paper. Exiting that takes me back to " you can only load plain paper etc" again. No way out of this. As far as I can see I have loaded sheets of A4 (recycled) paper correctly.

I don't know if this loop has something to do with Home button being dead but for the moment I am completely blocked and don't know how to proceed. So any help with it would be greatly appreciated.

I cracked it.

Paper was not being recognised because printer was on a surface that was too soft.

Once onto a table, no problem.   🙂
