I have a PIXMA G3270 printer. When I got to print the printer does not turn on automatically when data is sent. How do I turn this option on?

Greetings,
By turn on do you mean from a powered off state, or when the printer is sleeping and a job is sent to it?
How is the printer connected and to what? USB, Wi-Fi?
It would also be helpful to know what OS version and build you are using the printer with as well as what drivers you installed.
Thanks.

Thank you. When printer is powered off, and data is sent to print. I am using my MacBook to print. OS Sonoma 14.6.1 just updated today.
