GX series does not support borderless printing under all page sizes (Mac)

Printer Setup

To print borderless on A4 paper using the Canon GX7070, follow these steps:

1. Load Paper: Ensure A4 paper is loaded in the auto sheet feeder or cassette.

2. Open Printer Driver: Access the printer driver setup on your computer.

3. Select Page Layout:

   • Go to the Page Setup tab.
   • Choose Borderless from the Page Layout options.

4. Adjust Settings:

   • Confirm the media type is suitable for borderless printing (avoid plain paper).
   • Adjust the Amount of Extension slider if necessary. A setting around the second position from the right is recommended for most cases.

Important Considerations

• Media Type: Borderless printing is not available with plain paper. Use photo paper or other compatible media.

• Page Size: Ensure that the selected page size is A4 and supports borderless printing. If an incompatible size is chosen, the printer will automatically adjust to a valid size.

• Preview Before Printing: Check the preview option to confirm that the print will be borderless before starting the print job.
