G7020 printer, Win11 and 10 (different computers)
With an image cropped to 4x6, the printer ALWAYS resizes the print. It does not matter if borderless is set or not. Borderless prints end up at 4.125 x 6.25. Bordered prints are 3.75 x 5.825.
Paper size is set correctly.
(When I noticed the print errors, I used 5x7 photo paper and set printer to 4x6. That’s how I know what size borderless prints become.)

Many users have reported that the Canon G7020 printer often prints 4x6 photos incorrectly. The printer may resize the print, resulting in dimensions like 4.125 x 6.25 inches for borderless prints or 3.75 x 5.825 inches for bordered prints. This issue can be frustrating, especially if you expect standard print sizes.
Firmware Issues: Ensure your printer's firmware is up to date. An outdated version may not support certain print sizes correctly.
Paper Settings: Check the paper settings on the printer. The printer needs to recognize the correct paper size loaded in the tray. If the paper size is not registered properly, it may default to incorrect dimensions.
AirPrint Limitations: When using AirPrint, the available print options, including page size, are determined by the printer. If the printer does not advertise the correct sizes, you will be limited in your choices.
Update Firmware: Check for any available firmware updates for your G7020 printer.
Check Paper Size Settings: Make sure the paper size is correctly set in both the printer and the print dialogue on your device.
Use Canon Software: Consider using Canon's Easy-PhotoPrint Editor for more control over print settings, including size and layout.
Consult the Manual: Refer to the printer's manual for specific instructions on loading paper and setting print sizes.

Thank you for replying. Although it doesn’t help solve my problem. I do appreciate the time and effort it took to respond.
Printer firmware is current. Paper is correct (both physically and selected in printer settings). Software being used is directly from Canon’s website.
My old MX-920 did not suffer the same issues. Unfortunately that printer is no longer functional. If “[m]any users have reported that the Canon G7020 printer often prints 4x6 photos incorrectly,” then Canon is aware of the issue and has no plans to correct.
Sadly, I’ll have to find another brand of printer to use.
