PIXMA TS3522 will not print on 4x6

I have searched google and this community without finding an answer. Here is the run down. 4x6 paper is loaded in the back and was receiving a E,5,9 code which it has never done before despite using different size paper in the past and have never changed any settings. Now all of a sudden it wants to be fussy about what is selected on the printer. Found the answer to that one here. Thank you.

I selected no size so that it would not show the error. So now it acts likes it is printing but the pages come out blank. I tried with a Mac and also with a LG tablet and Canon Print app receiving the same results. It is not the ink, as it still prints fine on 8.5x11. Hope someone can help me fix this. Thank you.

Greetings,

Consider registering a custom paper size.

Setting Up the Canon TS3522 for 4x6 Photo Printing

Loading Paper

  1. Use the Correct Paper: Ensure you have 4x6 photo paper. Canon recommends using genuine photo paper for the best results.

  2. Load the Paper:

    • Open the rear tray.
    • Load the 4x6 paper vertically against the far right, with the print side facing you.
    • Adjust the paper guide to fit snugly against the paper without pressing too hard.

Printer Settings

  1. Select Paper Size:

    • On the printer's control panel, press the Paper Select button.
    • Choose the 4x6 paper size option and confirm by pressing the OK button.
  2. Adjust Print Settings:

    • In your print dialog on the computer, select the Canon TS3522 as your printer.
    • Choose the Photo Printing option to ensure the printer uses the correct settings for photo paper.
    • Make sure to set the paper size to 4x6 in the print settings.

Final Steps

  • Check Alignment: Ensure the paper is aligned properly to avoid jams.
  • Print a Test Photo: Before printing multiple photos, do a test print to check quality and alignment.

I have been using this printer for years and know how to load paper. Apparently it is malfunctioning.

Thank you for the attempt but the Canon Print app does not have those settings. Is there another way that I can access them?

On the printer itself using the control panel.

As I stated in my original post, have already tried that. Going to assume its malfunctioning since I have already tried everything. Thank you.
