There are a number of threads here from people who are unable to print on CD/DVD from a Mac using Canon software such as My Image Garden. I was finally able to get mine working and thought I would share how I fixed it.
I have a Pixma MG7520 that I've used on Windows 7 since 2015. I never had any problems printing on DVD's from Win7. A few months ago I migrated to a Mac. When I originally installed it on the Mac I selected "Airprint", and that worked well. But apparently that's not the proper setup if you want to print to discs. When I tried printing to disc from My Image Garden yesterday, I was getting the default Mac print dialog instead of the MIG dialog that's referenced in so many Canon KB articles. Furthermore, there was no option in the dialog for "printable disc."
Here's how I was finally able to resolve it:
Hopefully, this will save others some aggravation.
