Canon Model MX340 After a short print job the error code appeared. I am unable to print and it will not reset after powering off and on or restarting the computer.

To try and resolve this issue, please unplug the power from the unit for about 25-30 minutes. Once this time frame has passed, plug the unit back in and power the printer on.
If the error still remains, please contact a technical support representative at 1-800-652-2666 between the hours of 10 a.m. and 10 p.m., EST, Monday - Friday for additional assistance with this error.

this had no effect on fixing the issue.
