Hi dseymour! So that the Community can help you better, we will need to know exactly what printer model you're using, and the Computer Operating System you're using (Windows XP/Vista/7/8 or Mac 10.x). Any other details you'd like to give will only help the Community better understand your issue! Thanks and have a great day!

Thanks for your message. After reading all of the posts re: this error from other users, I gave up and bought a new Pixma MX 922 printer. Thanks again.

Canon Pixma MX892 - B200 error.
Following other suggestions, I have taken out all the cartridges, blotted the contacts, cleaned contacts with alcohol with Qtips, turned off and unplugged the machine for 30 minutes, turned machine back on, replaced all ink cartridges and changed the one cartridge that was low. And error is still there.
Vista Home Premium
Please advise. Thanks!

I pretty much did all the things you mentioned but my one year old 922 really must have bit the dust. Even turning it on and off multiple times now results in the B200. I've now gone back to the PIXMA MX-860 I had before which was and is a workhorse. Now, what to do with this black brick!
