I just took my new Pixma MG6320 (white) out of the box, took
off all protective material, plugged it in, turned it on,
and it gives me error code 5100 over and over, although
there is no protective material still on the machine and no
foreign objects in it. As a result, I'm unable to set up the
machine. Is there a fix, or should I repack it and return
it? Thanks.

Thanks for the quick response. Thanks too for the kind advice about the forum. I resolved my problem by removing some protective material that I'd missed!
