Does the Pixma 892's ADF support feeding 4x6 pictures?

I have a whole bunch of 4x6 photos -- probably more than a thousand -- to scan.  Does the 892's feeder work with them?

Hi wilbur4321,

We do not recommend feeding 4 x 6 photos into the printer's ADF as they may jam and cause damage to the printer; for best results, please place the photos on the platen glass to scan them.
