Does the Canon Pixma MP 830 have any internal memory that has to be deleted before throwing out?

Hi butchy1048,

The PIXMA MP830 does not have memory that stores copies or records of documents printed, copied, scanned, or faxed from the unit.  If you would like to reset the user settings on the unit, please follow these steps from the printer's operation panel:

1. Press the <Menu> button.
   
   
2. Use the right / left cursor button to select [Maintenance/settings] and press the <OK> button.
   
   
3. Use the right / left cursor button to select [Device settings], and press the <OK> button.
   
   
4. Use the up / down cursor button to select [Reset setting], then press the <OK> button.  Confirm any prompts that come up, then press the <OK> button.
