Just to get this out there.
I have been able to print using Google Cloud Print for nearly a year with very few problems.
Since mid June 2015 it stopped working. After many attempts and hours trying to solve the problem. I have found that Canon New Zealand are now aware of the issue.
Google say that it's Canon problem and Canon are working on it.
I get the impression that Google made some changes and Canon haven't sorted their side of the network out.
My MX726 printer won't register with Cloud Print and says "Can not connect to server"
Canon New Zealand have the same problem with other Canon printers, though it took many calls to find this out.
I can't get a response from Canon New Zealand or USA as to why Canon's own Emailprint won't work either even though I have no problem registering my printer with the service.
