Chromebook and mx492 printer

I just bought a chromebook and it recognizes my mx492 printer.  Both are connected wirelessly.  It says its printing a document on the mx492 but nothing happens.  The print job is listed on the chromebook print page it shows as printing then it says printing cancelled.  It scans perfectly but it won't print. Please help!

If the printer is not responding to the print commands, you can try adding a fresh printer connection to the Chromebook using the steps below.

1. At the bottom right, select the time.

2. Select Settings .

3. At the bottom, select Advanced.

4. Under "Printing," select Printers.

5. Next to "Add printer," select Add printer .

6. Enter your printer information:
   Name: Enter any name.
   Address: Enter your printer’s IP address.
   Protocol: For most printers, the supported connection protocol is IPP.
   Queue: For most printers, the queue is ipp/print.

7. Select Add.

If you do not have the printer's IP address, you can print the lan details using the steps in the link HERE to get that information.
