The heaviest (thickest) paper that this printer can handle is Canon Photo Paper Pro Platinum (PT-101) which is:
- Weight: 300g/m2 (80lbs)
- Thickness: 11.8 mil
We do not test the printer with paper that is not made by Canon. For non-Canon media, we recommend that you stick to using paper that is between 17 and 53 lbs (64-200g/m2). You can open the following section of the manual to find more information about the recommended media for your printer:
